Where's The Art? Jan-31-2013!

I started my art journal at the beginning of January and I have several pages completed! I'll list them here so you can see what the inspiration really is for my healing process.

It was a gorgeous winter day here in WV!
We had a little bit of snow! I tried to film it for you. You will have the excuse the bloated look to my face. I did just receive a blood transfusion yesterday, but I'm feeling great today! I've been relaxing and working on art projects all day.

Change in Plans!!! Jan-30-2013

Today is not like what we thought!

I was supposed to start my chemotherapy treatment today, but apparently my blood is not up to par! I have to get two pints of blood because I'm anemic! Oh boy! We're sitting here at the hospital waiting on the blood to get here so that they put it in me. I'm also having some bone hardener being ejected today--it should help with any bone pain I have. So we're going to postpone my chemotherapy until possibly next week, if of course my blood gets to where it needs to be.

I probably just need to take it easy for a few days. We traveled all the way to Atlanta last week, got to my apartment and the dishwasher had backed up and overflowed all in the kitchen and living room of my apartment! It was nuts! We had to get a hotel room for the night because emergency maintenance never responded. We came back next day and got everything packed up and I was able to just get my keys turned in and I finished squaring things up with them. Then we chilled at the hotel before meeting up with the ATL crew for dinner.

Once the weather breaks come see us in the wild wonderful world of West Virginia!

Then we went to Charlotte, NC where my Lil Brother lives and we stayed there for the night with my cutie pie little niece. This was a chance for my mom to see where he lived, but also there was apparently really bad weather at home here in Morgantown and it probably would have been very dangerous drive back.
So the next morning we got on the road with sunny skies and got to WV just before 4 pm. They unloaded everything for me and we dropped off the truck.

So I've spent the past couple of days just organizing and setting up my room. I finally finished up last night.
I picked up some supplies for the Etsy shop, I'm setting up really soon---details will certainly follow soon!
So once I put that stuff away everything will be ready to go.

I'm ready to just relax . I'm gonna really take these next few days to do just that!!!!

I do have some pictures of my actual art journal that I will be posting soon. I just haven't had a chance to take those yet. I love the art journal and I really want to share my artistic side of things with you!

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!!! JAN-29-2013

 My name is Tina Bina and I'm on a new journey in 2013!

I was recently diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer along with some tumors on my brain, spine and ovaries. This was discovered Christmas night 2012! I started 2013 off in the hospital in Morgantown, WV which is my home town. I had about a gazillion tests and saw what felt like a ton of doctors and was in the hospital for about two weeks. I had two weeks of radiation treatment after getting discharged and I'm about to start chemotherapy tomorrow! I moved to Atlanta, GA ten years ago and I only come home for holidays and whatnot. But with this scenario I had no choice but to move back home to WV. I had a little down time last week and was able to go to Atlanta, GA with my Mom and my Lil brother so that they pack up everything and bring it back to WV for me while I undergo treatment. Unfortunately, my job will only be able to keep me for another month-It's a travel job and I would not be able to stay on while going through treatment. They have been tremendously helpful through out this whole ordeal--CLASS--awesome company to work for! So I'm all moved back home and the journey is about to take place.

This blog is going to be my place to vent, to heal, to encourage others and to document my journey with this through my art journal. I'm going to be keeping a journal as I go through this and share it with you. So anyone can  keep up with what's going on really easily. Plus I wanna offer up any tips on staying positive to others who may be going through the same thing. I think I'm going to do some cancer cutie outfit tips too!

I'm really excited about this journey! I want everyone to know that I have already claimed my healing and this is really just a way to show you that a positive attitude, faith in God and happiness are the only things that truly matter.

So love yourself! Thank God for your Healing and put a smile on your face!
